Wednesday ticket

There are lots of questions about this Wednesday ticket.
It was said that Wednesday & Thursday was free for season ticket holder,
what about the non season ticket holder, did they have to pay, or was those 2 days free for all?
Or.....!!
Was it for getting in "Canvas City". From Brian Hinton's book "Message to Love" page 124

'What we did was liberate the big inflatable tent (Canvas City) that was behind the main stage.
We basically held the guy to ransom, saying
"We're taking over.  Otherwise we're going to stop the generator."
So he let us in, and we had a stage,  and we charge ten bob to come in and kip there'

10 Shillings(bob) is the marked price on the ticket, the questions still remain...!?

  1. What can you tell me about the 1970 isle of Wight Jimi Hendrix advertising poster? I own one and cannot find any information on it anywhere
